Player Code of Conduct

 


When joining C3, you are agreeing to embody the following player's pledge:


  • Punctuality- Arrive early and ready, 15 minutes before practice time and 30 minutes before tournament.
  • Sportsmanship- This is non-negotiable. Be the standard!
  • Respect- Be respectful towards the sport, your teammates and our coaching staff. Disrespect will not be tolerated.
  • Accountability- Notify coach if you are going to be late or absent from any club event. No notification by the player is considered an unexcused absence and may impact an athlete’s future playing time.
  • Participation- Your participation is required, not recommended. Your teammates expect you to be present and participating, as this is what they have given to you. Tournament play is determined by attendance and usage- at the coach's discretion.

  • 90% attendance- 10% usage decrease / observe a set
  • 80% attendance- 20% usage decrease / observe 2 sets
  • 70% attendance- expectation to observe multiple sets

 

  • There will be NO discussions during a game, tournament, or practice in regard to playing time.
  • All players are required to work and do their part at all events. Leaving early when your team is still working is not allowed unless discussed with your coach and captains.

I, the athlete, understand that not following any of the policies and procedures listed above will be seen as going against the positive growth of both C3VB and myself.


C3 Payment Policy & Information


Tuition cost: 

$2,200


Includes: 

  • 2 practices a week
  • 8 multi-day competitions
  • 2 uniforms
  • backpack
  • warmups

 

  • Tuition does not include cost of travel, AAU/USAV membership fees, and accommodations for competitions.
  • $1,000 deposit due as signing of player contract. 
  • Tuition to be paid in full before start of the season. (first week of November) Payments can be broken down into monthly payments of $400.

We accept all major credit cards on our online registration system, and we also accept venmo, checks (payable to C3 Volleyball Club) and cash payments.

Travel


Program tuition does not cover player travel costs (hotel and flights). Families are responsible for funding and coordinating travel arrangements. We recommend athletes stay with their families to save on costs. 

 

Tryout fees are nonrefundable. ($20)


Parental Code of Conduct


Below is the parent code of conduct. It is imperative that you read and abide by all rules.


As a parent, we already embarrass our kids enough day-to-day. Let's not shadow their moment by drawing attention away from them.


 DO NOT:

- Yell at scorers table about the score, or the coaches

- Interact with the officials, let them do their job

- Coach you kids from the sidelines. You pay us to coach. You can be a spectator.

- Shout criticism or vulgarities to the players, coaches or officials.

- Speak to coaches about playing concerns, playing time, usage, etc. while the tournament is going on.

 

Please remember...

-Players just like YOUR child officiate these games and they don't get paid. They are there to play and are likely tired.

-Coaches and officials make decisions on behalf of the athletes and the betterment of the game.

-To be a supportive parent.

-Energy wins games. Providing support and positive energy from the sidelines will help your kids stay out of their heads and in the game.
